DTC 10 Vehicle speed input signal
INSPECTION INDICATION ACTION
Start engine and drive the vehicle.

Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.

• Check the vehicle speedometer sensor.
• Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster —
vehicle speedometer sensor)
DTC 11 Engine speed input signal

ACTION
Start engine.

• Check the PCM.
• Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster —
PCM)
DTC 12 Operation signal to the speedometer
INSPECTION
INDICATION SITUATION ACTION
W ait for 2 seconds after selecting DTC
12.
(No indication)
Speedometer needle
move full scale and then
indicated
60 mph.
Speedometer is okay.
Other than above stated.
Replace the display unit
assembly.
DTC 13 Operation signal to the tachometer
INSPECTION INDICATION SITUATION ACTION
Wait for 2 seconds after selecting DTC
13.
(No indication)
Tachometer needle move
full scale and then
indicated 3000 rpm.
Tachometer is okay.
Other than above stated.
Replace the display unit
assembly.
DTC 16 Operation signal to the fuel-level warning light
INSPECTION INDICATION SITUATION ACTION
Wait for 2 seconds after selecting DTC
16.
(No indication)
Fuel-level warning light
turns on and off 3 times.
Fuel-level warning light is
okay.
Other than above stated.
Check the fuel-level
warning light.
