TROUBLESHOOTING
8. Move the cursor to AB S-AN TI LOCK BRAKE
M ODULE. Press the trigger.

9. Move the cursor to DIA G N O STIC TEST MODE.
Press the trigger key to enter this selection.
After repairing the ABS wheel-speed sensor or
pump motor, the ABS warning light may not
go off when ignition is switched to ON. In this
case, drive the vehicle at a speed of more
than
10 km/h {6.2 mph}. After the ABS
warning light goes off, reset the memory.
PID/Data M onitor Procedure
1. Select
A B S-AN TILO C K BRAKE SYSTEM
in the
same procedure as the reading DTCs procedure.
2. Move the cursor to PID/DATA M ONITO R AND
RECORD.
Press the trigger key to enter this
selection.

10. Move the cursor to
R EAD/CLEAR DIAGNO STIC
TE S T RESULTS. Press the trigger key to enter
this selection.
11. Press START.
12. If the system is normal, SYSTEM PASSED. (NO
DTCS AVAILABLE) will be indicated. If any DTC
is indicated, follow the appropriate DTC
troubleshooting chart.
13. After completion of repairs, clear DTCs.
C learing DTCs Procedure
1. Connect the
SST
(NGS tester) to the data link
connector and select READ/CLEAR
D IA G N O STIC TEST RESULTS in the same
procedure as the reading DTCs procedure. Press
the trigger key to enter this selection.
