SECURITY AND LOCKS
FR O N T DOOR LOCK A N D OPENER REM OVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Raise the front door glass fully.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the front door trim. (Refer to 09-17
FRONT DOOR TRIM
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

FRO NT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION
Note
• The front door lock actuator is built in the front
door lock.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front door trim. (Refer to 09-17
FRONT DOOR TRIM
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Partially peel off the front door screen.
4. Disconnect the front door lock actuator connector.
5. Apply battery positive voltage to the front door
lock actuator terminals and check the operation of
the front door lock actuator.

6. If not as specified, replace the front door lock.
