Select File...
"Select File..." is enabled as long as the "2-Port Data" network is selected. This net-
work is defined by its S-parameters stored in a two-port Touchstone file (
*.s2p
). No
additional parameters are required.
In case the port number conventions of the loaded two-port Touchstone file differ from
network analyzer conventions (see description of
), it is possible to "Switch Gates".
The analyzer will interchange the port numbers (e.g. S

--> S
21
) when loading the file.
Note:
The loaded file is stored in the active recall set. Recall sets contain the full
(de-)embedding data so that they can be transferred to other instruments.

5.7.5 Port Sets Tab
Selects transformation networks for deembedding/embedding arbitrary port sets,
defines their parameters, assigns them to a port set and enables embedding.
Use the complementary dock widget to create the required port sets and to activate or
deactivate dembedding/embedding for selected port sets (see
