SMARTerCal – Repeat...
Re-enters the data acquisition step of the current "SMARTerCal", restoring the related
channel settings. This provides a convenient way to repeat or correct an existing
"SMARTerCal" without necessarily repeating all measurements.

Calibration Unit Wizard
The "Calibration Unit" wizard guides you through the setup and execution of an auto-
matic calibration.
Access:
CHANNEL – CAL > "Start Cal" > "Start... (Cal Unit)"
The wizard proceeds through in three steps.
1.
allows to define the calibration to be performed and to select the cali-
bration unit to be used (along with its characterization).
2.
allows to define the port assignment(s) between the
R&S
ZNB/ZNBT and the calibration unit.
3.
allows to perform the required measurements (on the standards
provided by the calibration unit), to calculate the resulting error terms and to apply
the results to the related channels.
Background information
Refer to
Chapter 4.5.5, "Automatic Calibration"
●
A successful calibration will supersede the previous calibration, discarding all previ-
ous system error correction data.
To keep older correction data you can transfer them to the calibration "Pool" using
the
.
●
The system error correction data that are determined in a calibration procedure,
are stored in the analyzer. It is possible to retrieve these data using the remote
control command
If external switch matrices are involved, use
Step 1: Ports
