The the setup names and numbers in parentheses (00 - 99) correspond to the 100 setups
that can be saved on your Synergy Q/MD switcher. Any of the setups that have been
saved will be underlined and colored blue.
6. If you wish to hide the setup names and display only the setup numbers, click
Hide
Name
. Click
Show Name
to show the setup names again.
7. Click in the Number field and enter the two-digit location (00-99) where you wish to
upload the switcher setup.
8. Click the
Browse...
button and use the file requestor to select the setup file on your
computer that you wish to upload to the switcher.
9. Click the
Open
button. The Filename field will contain the path to the setup file you
just selected.
10. Click the
Upload set
button to upload the file to the switcher.
This completes the procedure for uploading a setup to the switcher. Next, you will have to recall the
switcher files from the setup location.
Recalling Registers From a Storage Device
Use the following procedure to recall registers from a storage device:
1. Ensure that new Synergy Q/MD software version is properly installed. If not, refer to the
section “ Software Upgrade ” on page 6-8 for more information.
2. Navigate to the Disk Menu as follows:

HOME B Disk
.
3. Press Dest/Source to display the Dest/Source Menu.

Important Uploading to a location that has a currently saved setup will cause that
setup to be overwritten.
Important The Setup file will be called set ## .tar.gz , where ## is the number of
the setup. Uploading any other file to the switcher may corrupt your
setup location.
