XPT On Air
— Select this option to tally the Aux Bus whenever the selected
BNC (from step 4 above) is used on air.

GPI & XPT On
— Select this option to tally the Aux Bus whenever the
selected BNC is used on air, and whenever an assigned “input” GPI is enabled.
Both criteria must be active in order for the Aux Bus to tally properly.
4. If you selected
GPI & XPT On
in the previous setup, an input GPI port must be
associated with the Aux Bus that you chose. If you did not select
GPI & XPT On
,
proceed to the end of the procedure.
5. Press
GPI Tally Assign
to display the GPI Tally Assign Menu .

6. Assign a GPI to an Aux Bus as follows:
• Use the Aux Bus knob to select the Aux Bus that you want to associate with a GPI
input trigger.
• Use the GPI knob to select the input GPI port that you want to associate with the
Aux Bus.
• Use the Polarity knob to select if the GPI triggers on a low or high-level pulse.
This completes the procedure for setting up an Aux Bus tally method.
Setting Up Remote Aux Panels
To set up a Remote Aux Panel, you must first assign an Aux port to Remote Aux Panels, and then
assign each Remote Aux Panel to an Aux Bus.
Use the following procedure to configure the switcher to communicate with a Remote Aux Panel:
1. Navigate to the Communications Menus as follows:

2. Press Type on the Communications Menu 1-2 .

3. Assign a Remote Aux port to the Remote Aux Panel as follows:
