• Press the appropriate button in the Mattes Group to add a checksum event.

Note
In order for the checksum values to be validated, the video signal used
when running a test must be the same that was used when the test was
recorded. Only stills or internally generated signals, such as color
patterns, should be used in checksum custom controls.
Important
A

frame Pause CC should be added to the custom control macro
before each checksum if the video signal has been changed. This is to
ensure that enough time has passed to allow the new video signals to
propagate through the switcher. Refer to the section “
Custom Control
Pauses ” on page 10-34 for more information on inserting a pause.
Operating
Tip
You can record your macro and add the checksum events to it later
using the Edit feature. Refer to the section “
Editing Custom Control
Macros ” on page 10-42 for more information.
