4. Locate the two small holes on the front edge of the 

Video Processor Board

, near the 

extractor tabs. If you wish, you can further secure the board by threading tie wraps 
through these holes and fastening them around the extractor tabs.

5. Repeat this procedure for all remaining 

Video Processor Boards

This completes the procedure for re-seating and upgrading the Video Processor Boards. Next you 
must re-seat any Squeeze & Tease Carriers. If you do not have any Squeeze & Tease Carriers, proceed 
to reboot the switcher. Refer to the section “

Rebooting the Switcher After an Upgrade

” on page 

6-15.

Re-seat and Upgrading the Squeeze & Tease Carriers

After the Video Processor Boards have been re-seated and upgraded, you must propagate the upgrade 
to all of the Squeeze & Tease Carriers, one at a time. If you do not have any Squeeze & Tease Carriers, 
proceed to reboot the switcher. Refer to the section “

Rebooting the Switcher After an Upgrade

” on 

page 6-15.

Use the following procedure to re-seat and upgrade the Squeeze & Tease Carriers:

1. Gently push the 

Squeeze & Tease Carrier

 into the slot. When the board stops sliding 

freely, push firmly to seat the board, and secure it with the ejector tabs.
