3. Set the video format for each input BNC as follows:
• Use the
BNC
knob to select the BNC you want to set the video format for (refer to
column 6 of your Conversion Loop Worksheet).
• Use the
Format
knob to select the video format for the input BNC (refer to column
3 of your Conversion Loop Worksheet).
This completes the procedure to set the video format for each input BNC.
Defaulting Input Video Formats
You can rapidly set all input BNCs to the same video format as the currently defined system output
video format. This is a good way to start configuration if you are only using a few video sources that
are of different formats as you only have to modify the video formats of those inputs which are
different.
Use the following procedure to set the default video format for all input BNCs:
1. Navigate to the Reference Menu as follows:

HOME B MORE B Setup B Installation B MORE B Reference

2. Press
Reset Format Input BNCs
to set all input BNCs to the system output video
format.
You will be presented with a confirmation screen and must confirm or cancel the
changes by selecting:

Confirm
— All input BNC video formats will be changed to match the current
system video output format.
~
Cancel
— No changes to the input video formats will be made.
This completes the procedure to set the default video format for input BNCs.
Note The video format list shows all formats the switcher is capable of
operating in. Each MLE defaults to the system output format your
switcher is operating in. Refer to the section “
Reference ” on
page 11–26 for information on setting the system output format.
