Remote Aux Panel GPI Setup
Using the 8 GPI input ports on the Remote Aux Panel, a camera operator can manually override the
Aux panel selection using a GPI trigger. For purposes of matching or monitoring cameras, the camera
operator can override the selected Aux Bus crosspoint and manually switch to a selected Output BNC
using a button on the joystick of the camera control unit.
The 8 GPIs on each panel can be offset by multiples of 8 to allowing each remote panel to use
different GPI ports, to the maximum of 64 GPIs . For example, Remote Aux Panel 1 can be set to use
GPIs 1 through 8 . By setting Remote Aux Panel 2 to a +1 offset, it will use GPIs 9 through 16 . The
panels can be programmed to ignore all 8 GPIs, if desired.

Note
Each remote GPI port is dedicated exclusively to the control of Aux
Bus signal selection, such as via a contact closure from a CCU. No
other functions can be assigned to these remote GPIs.
