3. Assign the Still-Store channel that you want to use for the alpha signal to the Still-Store
channel with the fill signal as follows:
• Use the
BNC
knob to select the Still-Store channel that will have the fill signal.
This will be the Global-Store or MLE-Store channel that you will load the still into.
• Use the
Alpha
knob to select the Still-Store channel that will have the alpha signal.
This will be the Global-Store or MLE-Store channel that the alpha will be loaded
into.
4. Press
HOME
to display the Installation Change Confirmation Screen .
5. Accept or reject the changes you have made as follows:
• Press
Confirm
to accept the changes.
• Press
Cancel
to exit the menus safely, without making any changes. The system
returns to the previously stored settings.
This completes the procedure for setting up a Still-Store Auto Key.
Setting Up N/S Disable
The N/S Disable Menu gives the user the option to disable the non-sync indicators for selected BNCs,
if desired. When a BNC has the N/S Disable set to ON , the non-sync indicator on the panel will not
light for this BNC, even if this source is mistimed.
Use the following procedure to disable the non-sync indicators:
1. Navigate to the BNC Menu 2-3 as follows:
• Press HOME B MORE B Setup B Installation B BNC B MORE .
2. Press N/S Disable to display the N/S Disable Menu .
BNC — N/S Disable Menu
3. Use the BNC knob to select the Input BNC that you want to turn the N/S Disable feature
On or Off for.
4. Use the N/S Disable knob to turn the Non-Sync Disable feature On or Off as follows:
• OFF — Select this option if you want to turn the N/S Disable feature Off . When the
feature is turned off, the switcher will use the N/S indicators on the control panel to
show when a source selected on that bus is out of sync with the switcher.
• ON — Select this option if you want to turn the N/S Disable feature On . When the
feature is turned on, the switcher will not indicate if the source selected on a bus is
out of sync with the switcher.
5. Use the N/S Control knob to select between the following:
• Individual — Select this option to turn the N/S Disable feature On or Off for the
selected Input BNC only.
