Synergy 1.5 through 2.5 Q/MD Tally Connections
The Synergy 1.5 through 2.5 Q/MD Switchers have two DB25 tally ports to the provide the

standard tally relays, plus two additional DB25 ports to provide
36
additional tally relays with the
Extended Tallies option.
Synergy 1.5 through 2.5 Control Panels — Tally Ports
The four Tally ports on the Synergy 1.5 through 2.5 control panels have the following pinouts that
correspond to the Tallies indicated on the tables below.

Note
Tally Connectors 3 and 4 are provided as standard, but the associated
tally electronics is provided with the Extended Tallies option. Refer to
the section “ Installed Options ” on page 6-27 for more information on
determining if the Extended Tallies option is installed.
Operating
Tip
Prior to wiring each tally, ensure that you have completed the Input
Worksheet found in Appendix C, “ Installation Worksheets ”, in the
Synergy Q/MD Engineering Manual . You will need the information
in the Tally column as a reference.
