Remote Aux Panel GPI Programming
In this section, you will program your remote Aux panels for the desired group and offset . You can
also test the GPI connections locally. Refer to your Remote Aux Panel GPI Input Worksheet to
verify the groups and offsets for all buses.
1. Navigate to the Aux Bus Menu as follows:
• Press HOME B MORE B Setup B Installation B Aux Bus .
2. Press Remote Panels to display the Remote Panels Menu .
3. Press Remote Panel Setup to display the Remote Panel Setup Menu .

4. Press CLEAN FEED on the Remote Aux Panel to switch the panel from “assignment”
programming mode to “GPI” programming mode. The CLEAN FEED button flashes to
indicate that GPI programming mode is active.
With the GPI programming mode in effect, the first eight crosspoints on each panel
allow you to set the group and offset for the selected panel.

5. Press the crosspoint button for the group and offset that you want to assign to this
Remote Aux Panel. The button lights to indicate your selection.
Caution GPI inputs are only intended for connection to “dry contact”, open
collector type transistor outputs, or 5 VDC signals. Application of any
negative voltages, or voltages in excess of 5 VDC may permanently
damage the GPI inputs.
Note
All Remote Aux Panels are now in programming mode, the On-Air
Indicator on the panel are flashing and the button in the Aux Bus
Assign Group are not lit.
Note Only one Group and offset can be assigned to a Remote Aux Panel at a
time.
