• Use the
Com Port
knob to select the communications port on the Q/MD switcher
that is connected to the Remote Aux Panel.
• Use the
Device
knob to select
Remote Aux
.
• Use the
Aux Buses
knob to select the range of aux buses that you want to make
available to the remote aux panels connected to the selected port.
4. Press
HOME
to display the Installation Change Confirmation Screen .
5. Accept or reject the changes you have made as follows:
• Press
Confirm
to accept the changes.
• Press
Cancel
to exit the menus safely, without making any changes. The switcher
returns to the previously stored settings.
6. Navigate to the Remote Panels Menus as follows:

HOME B More B Setup B Installation B Aux Bus B Remote
Panels
.
7. Press
Remote Panel Setup
on the Remote Panels Menu . This places all the Remote
Aux Panels connected to the switcher into assignment programming mode. The red
On-Air indicator on the Remote Aux Panels flash ( Figure 11.1 ).

8. In assignment programming mode, the first

crosspoint buttons ( Figure 11.2 )
represent Aux Bus outputs in the range specified in Step ( 3. ) above.

Note All the Remote Aux Panels that are connected to the selected Aux port,
or to other Remote Aux Panels that are connected to the port, are
restricted to Aux Buses in the range you select.
