This completes the procedure for turning the Mix/DSK option on.
Mix/DSK Operation
The Mix/DSK option provides a limited Mixer and Keyers to the Program/Preset MLE of your
switcher. For the operation of the Program/Preset MLE on a half MLE switcher, the following
restrictions apply:
• You can perform Cuts and Dissolves , but not Wipes or DVE effects.
• You can perform Auto Select Keys and Self Keys , but not Chroma Keys or Preset
Pattern Keys .
• You can perform Mask and Key Invert effects, but not Matte Fill or Wash effects.
Note As there is only one output board on the Synergy Q/MD switchers, the
Board knob will be fixed at Board B .
Important When Mix/DSK is turned On or Off, a Recall Factory Default Settings
must be performed. Refer to the section “ Recalling Factory Default
Settings ” on page 11-32 and complete the procedure for Recalling
Switcher Registers .
