Additional Installation Setups • 11–15
The override remains in effect until the contact is closed a second time
(assuming no other action has ended the override).
~
High-Toggle
— This type of input trigger is similar to the
Low-Toggle
,
except that an override is triggerred when a contact is opened (low to high
signals).
~
Latch
— Select this option for an input trigger that will override the Aux Bus
output with the selected crosspoint until overridden by another CCU joystick, a
remote aux panel crosspoint button selection, or a switcher Aux Bus crosspoint
button selection.
~
Off
— This setting disables the selected remote GPI.
7. Verify that the proper Input BNCs have been selected as follows:
•
Go to each of the Remote Aux Panels that you have set up overrides on.
•
Manually select
BLACK
on the Remote Aux Panel.
•
Press each CCU joystick button in succession, and verify that the desired BNC is
selected, overriding
BLACK
.
•
Verify that when you release the joystick button, or press it a second time,
BLACK
is once again selected.
Please note the following important points regarding the use of Override-type remote GPIs connected
to CCU Joystick buttons:
•
The selected override remains latched for as long as the Joystick button is held down.
The panel returns to its previous “normal” assignment when the button is released.
•
If a
second
Joystick button is pressed while the first is being held, the second BNC will
override the current selection on the panel. In this situation, if
either
Joystick button is
released, the panel returns to the previous “normal” assignment.
All three GPI trigger types act as an override of the actual crosspoint selected, but can also be
cancelled (overridden) simply by pressing another crosspoint.

Remote Panel Menu
