Aux Bus Setup
The Aux Bus Setup Menu allows you to set up Aux (Auxiliary) panels, and assign certain “rights” to
those panels. The setup procedures cover both local and remote Aux panels.
• The “ Local ” Aux panel consists of the Aux Bus (on the switcher control panel), plus the
Aux Bus Assign Group , as shown below (on the Synergy 2.5 Q/MD control panel):

• An Assignable Remote Aux Panel controls all Aux Bus outputs, as shown below:

Modifying Aux Bus Names
Each Aux Bus can be named to represent the function that it will actually control.
Use the following procedure to modify the name of the Aux Bus:
1. Navigate to the Aux Bus Menu as follows:
• Press
HOME B MORE B Setup B Installation B Aux Bus
.
2. Press
Modify Name
to display the Aux Bus Names Menu .
Note
The following setup procedures include information for a feature that
allows the manual override of the Aux panel selection via GPI trigger.
