• Use the
Action when checksum diff found
knob to select the action you want
the switcher to take when a checksum custom is run. You can select between the
following:

No Action
— Select this option to have no action taken when the checksum
custom control is run.
~
Log change
— Select this option to have any changes in the checksum values
recorded to a system log that can be viewed by a Ross Video employee. A
pop-up message will be displayed when the custom control is finished.
~
Halt macro
— Select this option to have any changes in the checksum values
halt the custom control macro and display the checksum event that returned a
different value. A pop-up message will be displayed indicating the problem.
Video Checksum Change Pop-up
~ Recalc c’sums — Select this option to have the currently returned
checksums stored as the new reference values for the checksums. The existing
stored checksums values will be replaced with the new values. A pop-up
message will be displayed if any of the checksum values were replaced.
5. Press HOME to display the Main Menu 1-2 .
6. Press the custom control button you assigned the checksum custom control to in order to
run the custom control.
This completes the procedure for running a checksum custom control.
Note Unless you select No action , a pop-up message will be displayed
when the checksum custom control is finished indicating the results.
