BNC — Auto Key Setup Menu
3. Assign the Input BNC with the alpha video signal to the BNC with the fill video signal
as follows:
• Use the BNC knob to select the Input BNC with the video signal that you want to
use as the Fill for the Auto Key.
• Use the Alpha knob to select the Input BNC with the video signal that you want to
use as the Key Alpha for the Auto Key. For example:
~ Match CG Fill (C12) with CG Alpha (G12) .
~ Match VTR 1 (C05) with BLACK .
4. Press HOME to display the Installation Change Confirmation Screen .
5. Accept or reject the changes you have made as follows:
• Press Confirm to accept the changes.
• Press Cancel to exit the menus safely, without making any changes. The system
returns to the previously stored settings.
This completes the procedure for setting up an Auto Key.
Setting Up Still-Store Auto Keys
You can associate one Still-Store channel as the alpha for another Still-Store channel. This means that
if you load a still that has alpha information in the file, the switcher will use the associated channel to
load the alpha still.
Use the following procedure to set up a Still-Store Auto Key:
1. Navigate to the BNC Menu 1-3 as follows:
• Press HOME B MORE B Setup B Installation B BNC .
2. Press Auto Key Setup to display the Auto Key Setup Menu .

Select BLACK for Input BNCs with no associated alpha. This is the
default setting.
