Synergy Q/MD Engineering Manual (v9.1 MD)

BNC Configuration and Check • 7–5

Use the following procedure to restore the default BNC name:

1. Navigate to the

BNC Menu 1-3

as follows:

•

Press

HOME

MORE

Setup

Installation

BNC

2. Press

BNC Names

to display the

BNC Names Menu 1-2

BNC Names Menu 1-2

3. Use the

BNC Number

knob to select the desired BNC number.

As you rotate the knob, you will notice the

Current Name Field

changes to show the

current name (as stored in switcher memory) of the BNC connector.

4. Press

Default

to change the BNC name to the default format.

5. Press

Accept New Name

This completes the procedure for restoring default names.

Setting Up Mnemonics Displays for BNC Names

If the Mnemonic Display option is purchased and installed, use the following procedure to customize
the appearance of the display:

1. Navigate to the

BNC Menu 1-3

as follows:

Tip

A Standard PS/2 keyboard can be used to perform the same actions as
