~ The label of the bottom knob changes depending on the selection made with the

knob. Each specific function is detailed below:
Functions:
• Select
OFF
to perform no transition when an incoming pulse is received from an
external device.
• When
Auto
or
Cut
is selected and an “ MLE ” area is chosen, the
CUT
or
AUTO
TRANS
button in the MLE Transition Group is triggered — when a specific GPI
input pulse is received from the external device.
GPI Trigger Types and Locations — MLE 1 Transition Group
• When Auto or Cut is chosen and the “ Fade to Black ” area is selected, the CUT or
FADE button in the Fade to Black group is triggered — when a specific GPI input
pulse is received from the external device.
GPI Transition Type and Trigger Locations — Fade to Black Group
• When Cust Ctrl is selected, the label for the bottom knob changes to Cust Ctrl
and the values change to a list of the custom control buttons in the format
Custom## 1### , which consists of the custom control name (default is
Custom## ), either a blank space or an asterisk (the “used” indicator), bank ( 1-8 ),
button type (as defined in the legend area), and button numbers ( 01-99 ). This
allows a GPI input to trigger a complex series of operation that have been assigned
to a custom control button.
