Chapter 2: Features

Subscriber Mailbox

A Subscriber Mailbox is assigned to an extension, so that an extension user (Subscriber) can
access the NT Voice Mail features. Extension users call their Subscriber Mailboxes from their
own extensions, someone else's extension or from outside the company.

System Administrator Mailbox

A System Administrator Mailbox is a special Subscriber Mailbox that provides access to the
features on the System Administrator Menu. The System Administrator uses the System
Administrator Menu to record Announcement Messages, Broadcast Messages, Instruction
Menus, Mailbox Names. You can program any Subscriber Mailbox as a System Administrator
Mailbox (see Programming below).

Set System Administrator to INTRA for the whole system or to INTER for an individual

Trunk Mailbox

A Trunk Mailbox lets a trunk have its own answering schedule, including company greeting
and dialing options, when it is assigned to a trunk number in a telephone system that supports
it.
