To plan modifications to the default settings:
The table below explains how to assign certain call routing options to Key Z, which is what we are
arbitrarily calling the key dialed by the caller.
To assign this call routing option to Key Z:
Enter this in Dial Action Table for Key Z:
Screened transfer to a specific extension
Action: TRF
Number: Number of extension
Unscreened transfer to a specific extension
Action: UTRF
Number: Number of extension
Transfer to any extension that the caller dials,
where the dialed extension numbers start with
the digit Z
Action: TRF or UTRF
Number: XX (2-digit ext) or XXX (3-digit ext)
Go to a specific mailbox
Action: GOTO
Number: Mailbox number
Go to a specific mailbox to hear all voice
prompts in Language 1 or Language 2
Action: LANG1/LANG2
Number: Mailbox number
Go to any mailbox that the caller dials, when
the dialed mailbox number starts with the digit
Z
Action: GOTO
Number: XXX
Log on to a mailbox and Voice Mail Action: LOGON
Number: None
Note: After pressing Key Z, callers must dial their mailbox numbers to logon to their mailboxes.
Leave a (quick) message in a mailbox having a Action: REC1
2-digit or 3-digit extension number associated Number: IXX (2-digit ext)
with it. IXXX (3-digit ext)
Note: After pressing Key Z, callers must dial the extension associated with the mailbox number to
leave a message in that mailbox.
Access a Name Directory of first names
Action: DIRF
Number: None
Access a Name Directory of last names Action: DIRL
Number: None
Note: After pressing Key Z, callers can dial an extension user’s first or last name to transfer to
that extension.
Hang up the call
Action: HUP
Number: None
Undefined Routing Action: UND
Number: None
Note: When callers press Key Z, the Automated Attendant says, That is an invalid entry.
