Advanced Setup Options for the NT Voice Mail

NT System Guide

Chapter 1: Installation

To enter the LAN Parameters:

1.

On the NT Voice Mail’s desktop, click 

Start

 

¿

Settings

 

¿

Control Panel

.

2.

Double-click 

Network

.

3.

Select the Protocols tab on the 

Network

 dialog box.

4.

Double-click 

TCP/IP Protocol

.

5.

If you are using values other than those already setup for you, select the 

Specify an IP 

address

 radio box.

6.

Ask  your Network Administrator for the correct IP Address for your network, and enter it in 
the 

IP address

 field.

7.

Ask your Network Administrator for the correct Subnet Mask for your network, and enter it in 
the 

Subnet Mask

 field. 

8.

Click the 

OK

 button.  You will see a dialog box telling you that you must shut down the Voice 

Mail and then restart the computer before the new settings will take effect. The dialog box will 
also ask you if you want to restart your computer now.

9.

Click the 

Yes

 button.

10. Follow the screen prompts.
