General Tab
The General tab displays the following Answering Schedule fields:
Schedule #
Each schedule number is defined by a starting date called Day(s) or Date and a starting time
called Time. Each schedule number also points to a mailbox containing a greeting appropriate
to that schedule.
Day(s)or Date
The Day(s) or Date option refers to the days or date, when the Voice Mail will start answering
calls by using the mailbox that you associate with the Schedule # explained above. (For more
information about how mailboxes are used for ASTs, see Mailbox below.)
Time
The Time option refers to the time in hours and minutes, when the Voice Mail will start answering
calls by using the mailbox that you associate with the Schedule # explained above. Entries are
expressed in military time, which uses a 24-hour clock. (For more information about how mail-
boxes are used for ASTs, see Mailbox on the next page.)

Notes:
You can enter any range of days except a range that bridges Sunday,
such as Fr-Mo. To enter Friday through Monday, create 2 ASTs: Fr-Su
and Mo.
The Voice Mail will change a “Mo-Su” entry to “Su-Sa”, which is the
correct entry if you wanted the Automated Attendant to use that greet-
ing throughout the entire week.
