Local Backup
Lets the System Administrator capture any or all of the following items from your hard drive
and store them onto either a super diskette or another hard drive on the LAN (if allowed to do
so by your Network Administrator):

FAX documents
Q
Feature Files (for options such as Fax-On-Demand, Fax-Mail, or Desktop Messaging)

Voice messages
Q
FAX messages
Q
the system database containing all your Voice Mail programming and recordings.
Local Backup replaces the Archive and Database Backup functions in previous versions of the
Voice Mail.

Local Restore
Lets the System Administrator restore to your hard drive any data that was previously stored on
either a super diskette or another hard drive on the LAN by using the Database Backup proce-
dure described on the previous page. Restoring data to your hard drive is very welcome in the
unlikely event of a full system failure.
Local Restore replaces the De-Archive and Database Restore functions in previous versions of
the Voice Mail.

Deleting Mailbox Security Code
Lets the System Administrator delete the security code for Subscriber, Message Center, Guest,
Announcement, and FAX Mailboxes.
