Directory Dialing Message
Tells a caller what letters (name) to dial to call an extension or mailbox. The System Adminis-
trator can record a Directory Dialing Message for an Extension Name Directory in a Call Rout-
ing Mailbox or for a Directory Dialing Mailbox itself. For example, if you set up a Directory
Dialing Mailbox to provide information about new products, you may wish to record: For
information on software, dial S F, then press the pound key. For information on hardware,
dial H D then press the pound key. To exit, press only the pound key.

Distribution List
Lets a caller record a message once and send it to every mailbox that you place on the list by
entering just the Distribution Mailbox number or name assigned to the list.

First Time Tutorial
Plays an Announcement Message when someone logs onto a Subscriber or Guest Mailbox for
the first time. The NT Voice Mail allows one of two options:

Option 1 plays the Announcement Message only.

Option 2 plays the Announcement Message, then explains how to record a Mailbox Greet-
ing/Name, and assign a Mailbox Security Code.

Select either Option 1 or Option 2 for First Log In Option.
Enter the number of digits (1

7) for First Log In Announcement Mailbox.
Instruction Menu
Tells Automated Attendant callers what dialpad keys to press in order to route their calls.
These instructions are recorded by a System Administrator. They are based on entries made
in the Dial Action Table, which is assigned to a Call Routing Mailbox or Directory Dialing
Mailbox.
