Alternate Next CRMB Dial Option
This option is available only if a Next Call Routing Mailbox is assigned to the Message Cen-
ter Mailbox (see Next Call Routing Mailbox on page 243). This option provides additional
dialing (routing) options to callers who enter the Message Center Mailbox to leave a message.
That is, the Alternate Next CRMB dial option lets the caller use the routing options assigned
to Keys 0-9 of the Next Call Routing Mailbox's Dial Action Table, not just the option assigned
to Key 0. This expanded dialing capability lets a caller dial, for example, another extension
after recording the message.
Availability:
All versions of the NT Voice Mail.

None
“None” lets the caller use the Key 0 Action of the Next Call Routing
Mailbox's Dial Action Table. When the caller enters the mailbox, the
Voice Mail plays the Message Center's Welcome Message, then a
beep. The beep signifies that the Voice Mail is in record mode. The
caller can then record a message and/or dial 0.

Option 1
Option 1 lets a caller use the routing options assigned to Keys 0-9 of
the Next Call Routing Mailbox's Dial Action Table. When the caller
enters the mailbox, the Voice Mail plays the Message Center's Wel-
come Message, then a beep. The beep signifies that the Voice Mail is
in record mode. The caller can then record a message and/or select
one of the routing options.

Option 2
This option does not apply to Message Center Mailboxes.
Notes:
• Make sure the Message Center Mailbox has a Next Call Routing Mail-
box.
• The Message Center's Welcome Message must explain the routing
options in the Next Call Routing Mailbox's Dial Action Table.
