System Re-initialization
Re-initializes the NT Voice Mail database to its default configuration.
Programming
1.
Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
2.
Double-click the Control Panel icon on the My Computer window.
3.
Double-click the Services icon on the Control Panel window.
4.
Select VMService and click the Start button on the Services window.
The appearance of the word Started in the Status field of VMService will show that the Voice
Mail system’s database has been re-initialized.
System Time and Date
Sets or resets the time and date on the clock for the NT Voice Mail system. You can reset the
time and date at anytime (see Programming below).
Programming
1.
Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
2.
Double-click the Control Panel icon on the My Computer window.
3.
Double-click the icon on the Control Panel window.
4.
Reset the month, year, and date on the Date panel at the left of the Date/Time Properties
window.
5.
To reset the time on the Time panel at the right of the Date/Time Properties
window:
Click to set the time on the scroll-down window below the clock.
6.
To change the clock’s time zone:
a. Click the Time Zone tab.
b. Select a time zone from the Time Zone scroll-down list.
c. If you wish, enable Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes.
d. Click the
button.
7.
Call System Administrator Mailbox: Dial SA (7 2) and TI (8 4)
Check the time and date that you set or reset above.
System Version Number
Plays from the System Administrator Mailbox. A technician may need the system version
number in order to troubleshoot a problem properly.
