DTMF Debounce
The value for this parameter determines the maximum duration in milliseconds that DTMF can be
absent and then come back on again and still be considered to be the same DTMF tone by the Voice
Mail.
Answer Ring Count
The value for this parameter determines the number of rings that the Voice Mail will wait for a call
to be answered before answering the call.
No Answer Time
The value for this parameter determines the length of time in milliseconds that the Voice Mail will
wait after the first ringback before it will consider that the call is not answered.
Max Answer
The value for this parameter determines the maximum allowable length of the answer field. If the
field exceeds this value, the Voice Mail will return a connect to the application.
Hedge
The value for this parameter specifies how the Voice Mail will recognize the time of connection,
sometimes referred to as the “Hello Edge”: either as a Rising Edge (immediately when a connect is
detected at the beginning of the Greeting) or as a Falling Edge (after the end of the Greeting). A “1”
entry indicates Rising Edge. A “2” entry indicates Falling Edge. The default value is 2.
Low Glitch
The value for this parameter determines the maximum duration of a silence period that the Voice
Mail will ignore. This value is used to eliminate false silence periods.
High Glitch
The value for this parameter determines the maximum duration of a non-silence period that the
Voice Mail will ignore. This value is used to eliminate false non-silence periods.
Answer Deglitch
The value for this parameter determines the maximum silence period in milliseconds, allowed
between words in a Greeting. You enable this parameter only when you are interested in measuring
the length of the Greeting.
Dtn Pres
The value for this parameter determines the minimum duration in milliseconds that dial tone must
be continuously present, before the Voice Mail will detect and recognize the dial tone. The default
value is 100.
Dtn NPres
The value for this parameter determines the minimum duration in milliseconds that the Voice Mail
will wait before detecting and recognizing the dial tone failure. The default value is 300.
Dtn Deboff
The value for this parameter determines the maximum duration in millisecond of the gap that the
Voice Mail allows in an otherwise continuous dial tone, before it will recognizes the dial tone as
invalid.
