Access Digits before Fax (cont’d)
Long Distance Callout
This string contains any digits or characters that the Voice Mail must dial before it can dial a
fax long distance call.
When you have finished entering access digit information about this
tenant:
click the
button to apply your entries to the current tenant and move to the dialog
box for the next tenant.
To apply your entries to the current dialog box and remain there:
Click the
button.
To save your entries on the current dialog box and return to a
previous dialog box:
Click the
button.
To save your entries on the current dialog box and then move to
another dialog box:
Click the
button,
enter the tenant number where you want to move,
and click the
button.
When finished customizing this information for the last tenant:
Click the
button to cause the Voice Mail to apply your entries to this tenant, remove
the dialog box from the screen, and return to the CTL Logo window.
OR
Click the Fax On-Demand Cover Page tab on the Tenant Options dialog box to display the screen
shown on the next page move, on to an explanation about the Voice Mail’s use of the Fax On-
Demand cover page for each tenant that shares the system, provided that the FAX-On-Demand
feature has already been set up and enabled. (For instructions, see Customizing Fax On-Demand
earlier in this guide.)

Pause (Voice Mail pauses 2 sec, then dials next digit.)

Monitored pause (Voice Mail pauses 2 sec, then dials next digit
only if no busy/reorder tone.)

Analyzed pause (Voice Mail pauses 4 sec, then dials next digit
only if no busy/reorder tone. Otherwise, Voice Mail terminates
the call.)

Escape (Not currently supported. Only applies to Mitel or
Norstar phone systems, using Dialogic D42SX or NS cards.)
