Installing and Configuring PerfectDisk NT
To install and configure PerfectDisk NT:
1. Click the button. Select Programs, InstaNT, and PerfectDisk.
2. On the Profiles window:
Highlight the All Partitions profile name in the Profiles list. Check the Profile Enabled check
box. Select lowest for the priority level, so that it will not interfere with the performance of
your Voice Mail system. Click the Schedule button.
3. Click to select the Daily tab.
4. On the Daily tab:
Select a time for disk defragmentation to begin, when the Voice Mail system is not fully loaded
with traffic, such as 2 AM. Then click the button for the schedule.
5. On the Raxco PerfectDisk NT window:
Click the button to save the changes to the profile.
6. On the Confirm dialog box:
Click the Yes button.
7. Click File on the menu bar, and select Defragment Now on the File menu.
This program takes more time to run the first time, but the first scheduled defragmentations
will have less work to do.
8. If you see a dialog box asking if you want to save changes to this profile:
Click the Yes button.
