Call Queuing
The Call Queuing option includes Hold Timer (seconds) and Number of Idle Ports.
Hold Timer (seconds)
The Hold Timer (seconds) value sets the maximum time in seconds that an Automated Atten-
dant caller will queue (wait) for a busy extension, before the Voice Mail will try to connect the
first waiting caller to the busy extension or let the other waiting callers know the status of their
call, such as still busy, and their dialing options.
Number of Idle Ports
The Number of Idle Ports value sets the minimum number of ports that must be available
(idle), before the Voice Mail will let a caller queue for a busy Subscriber extension.
Miscellaneous
The Miscellaneous option includes Port Self Test Timer (Minutes) and three ckeck boxes:
Greeting for Quick Msg/Mailbox Transfer, Sub-Attendant LampControl Method, and
Restore Lamp-On.
Port Self Test Timer (Minutes)
The Port Self Test Timer (Minutes) value sets the time interval in minutes between two
automatic Port Self Tests performed by the Voice Mail.
