Call Parameters 2 Tab
After you click the Call Parameters 2 tab, you will see a dialog box tab that is similar to the one
shown below:
The Call Parameters 2 tab displays these parameters:
Dtmf Timeout
The value for this parameter determines the time interval in seconds, allowed between the DTMF
digits dialed by a caller and the Voice Mail timeout.
Prompt Delay
The value for this parameter determines the minimum time interval that the Voice Mail will wait
before prompting the caller who dialed in. This value is entered in multiples of 55 milliseconds, so
that a setting of “1” would cause the Voice Mail to wait 55 milliseconds.
Welcome Delay
The value for this parameter determines the length of the delay between the caller dialing in and
the Voice Mail answering the call by playing a welcome message. This field is useful for any sys-
tem without an integration protocol, such as the EK2260. The value is entered in multiples of 55
milliseconds.
Dial Tone Wait Dur
The value for this parameter determines the minimum duration of the dial tone sound, before
the Voice Mail will recognize the sound as dial tone. The value is entered in multiples of 55 milli-
seconds.
