General Properties Page

The following mailbox options are on the General Properties Page and can be programmed for
Interactive Mailboxes.

Options

Programmable

Options

include Mailbox Type, Name, Department, Next Call Routing Mailbox,

Tenant and Directory List.

Mailbox Type

This option allows you to assign a mailbox type.

Name

This option allows you to assign a name to the Interactive Mailbox. The name appears on sys-
tem reports. The name is also used for Directory Dialing. A caller dials this name from a
Directory Dialing Mailbox to reach this Mailbox or extension. For more information on Direc-
tory Dialing Mailboxes, see page 194.

A caller also dials this name from an Extension Name Directory to transfer to this Interactive
Mailbox or extension. If you set up a first name (last name) Extension Name Directory, enter
the first (last) name first. For more information, see Dialing by First/Last Name in Customiz-
ing Dial Action Tables on page 138.

Department

This option identifies the department associated with the Interactive Mailbox.

Availability:

All versions of the NT Voice Mail.

Default:

Depends on the phone system that is installed.

When you change a mailbox type, the Voice Mail erases any messages
