Eliminate Recording Silence
When Eliminate Recording Silence is enabled, the Voice Mail will eliminate those periods
when it detects no audio. The elimination of non-audio conserves disk space and produces a
continuous all-vocal recording for the listener. The Eliminate Recording Silence option
includes the both Enabled check box and Delay before (msec).
Enabled
The value for this check box determines whether Eliminate Recording Silence is enabled or
disabled.
Delay before (msec)
The value for this option determines the amount of silence in milliseconds for the brief interval
of silence that will be recorded before silence elimination begins.
When you have finished entering values for the options on the General 1 tab of the System Options
dialog box,
click the
button to save your entries.
