Bus shielding
All bus connections of the easYgen are internally grounded via an RC element. Therefore,
they may either be grounded directly (recommended) or also via an RC element on the
opposite bus connection.
A shielded cable with shielded plug is required.

Troubleshooting
If there is no data transmission on the CAN bus, check for the following common CAN bus
communication problems:
• A T-structure bus is utilized
•
• CAN-L and CAN-H are switched
•
• Not all devices on the bus are using identical baud rates
•
• Termination resistor(s) are missing
•
• The configured baud rate is too high for wiring length
•
• The CAN bus cable is routed in close proximity with power cables
•
