The actual input power at the connectors must be between -47 dBm and +55 dBm
(please notice also the ranges quoted in the data sheet). If all power settings are con-
figured correctly the actual input power equals the "Ref. Level" minus the "External
Attenuation (Input)" value.
In the Standalone (SA) scenario, this parameter is controlled by the measurement. In
the Combined Signal Path (CSP) scenario, it is controlled by the signaling application.

User Margin
Margin that the R&S
CMW adds to the "Expected Nominal Power" in order to deter-
mine its reference power ("Ref. Level"). The "User Margin" is typically used to account
for the known variations of the RF input signal power, e.g. the variations due to a spe-
cific channel configuration.
The appropriate values depend on the configuration of the RL CDMA2000 signal, e.g.
on the active channels and gain factors. A typical value for the user margin is 9 dB.
This parameter is only configurable in Combined Signal Path (CSP).

Radio Configuration
Defines the expected radio configuration. The radio configuration determines the mod-
ulation type: Offset Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (O-QPSK), Quadrature Phase Shift
Keying (QPSK) or Hybrid Phase Shift Keying (H-PSK).
The two displayed radio configuration numbers correspond to forward and reverse
direction.
In the Standalone (SA) scenario, this parameter is controlled by the measurement. In
the Combined Signal Path (CSP) scenario, it is controlled by the signaling application.
Additionally, in the CSP, the modulation resulting from the selected radio configuration
is displayed.

5.3.3 Trigger Settings
The "Trigger" parameters configure the trigger system for the current selected TX mea-
surement: multi evaluation measurement or OLTR measurement.
