1xEV-DO Power
Sets the total 1xEV-DO output power. The value range depends on the RF output con-
nector and the external attenuation setting. The "1xEV-DO Power" level does not
include the AWGN power level.
The signal at the output connector is limited to the maximum level stated in the data
sheet. When the settings result in a signal exceeding this limit, the output power is
decreased automatically.
Remote command:

Output Power
Displays the total output power. including the AWGN power level.

Expected Power Mode
Configures the input path of the RF analyzer according to the expected output power of
the AT under test. The R&S
CMW assumes a 9 dB peak-to-average ratio (crest factor)
of the received 1xEV-DO signal and calculates an additional reserve. For an expected
RMS input power of x dBm, powers exceeding (x + 9) dBm can be measured.
●
Manual
: Assume that the AT transmits at the fixed "Manual Expected Power" value
and configure the R&S
CMW input path accordingly.
●
Open Loop Rule
: Assume that the AT transmits according to the open loop power
rule. The sum of the mean input power at the AT receiver plus the mean output
power at the AT transmitter is maintained at a constant power offset:
<input power> + <output power> = <power offset>
The power offset depends on the band class; see standard 3GPP2 C.S0057-D.
●
Max Power
: Assume that AT transmits at its maximum output power (RMS value
≤
+23 dBm; see table below).
