Loopback Enable ← FETAP Configuration
Indicates whether the AT under test can transmit FETAP loopback packets in order to
provide Packet Error Rate (PER) information. Loopback mode is a prerequisite for FL
PER tests. It is always on while a "Forward" test application is active; it is off while a
"Reverse" or a "Forward and Reverse" test application is active. See

Ack Ch Fixed Mode ← FETAP Configuration
Configures the ACK channel in the reverse signal that the AT uses to acknowledge/not
acknowledge FETAP test packets received on the forward traffic channel. ACK chan-
nel transmission is specified in standard 3GPP2 C.S0029-B. Same logic as for Net-
work Release 0, see

Ack Ch Fixed Modulation Type ← FETAP Configuration
Status of the "ACK Channel Modulation Type Fixed" mode where the AT can select a
specific modulation type for the reverse ACK channel; see standard 3GPP2 C.S0029-
B. At present this mode is always disabled.

RETAP Configuration > Min / Max Packet Size
The RETAP protocol specifies the procedures and messages to control the Reverse
Traffic Channel for subtype 2 signals. The R&S
CMW uses the Payload Size Selection
mechanism of 3GPP2 standard C.S0029-B. A valid packet size is represented by an
integer PayloadSizeIndex between 0 and 12 the and the range of RETAP test packet
sizes can be restricted by providing a minimum and maximum index.
Because a RETAP test packet can be transmitted at most every 4-slot subframe, a
PayloadSizeIndex implicitly determines a maximum data rate on the reverse traffic
channel. The relation between PayloadSizeIndex, packet size and maximum data rate
is given in the following table:
