The state of the signaling application can be observed within the "RX measurement"
view:
The "1xEV-DO RX measurement" results are displayed in a tabbed style.
Carrier Selection
When performing multi-carrier measurements (revision B, option R&S CMW-KS881)
the R&S
CMW collects data for every individual carrier. The carrier whose results shall
be displayed can be selected/changed at any time. Its number is displayed in the top
right corner of the "RX measurement" dialog.
Aggregate results per carrier (e.g. over all possible data rates or packet sizes) are pre-
fixed by the word "total"; aggregates over all carriers are prefixed by the word "compo-
site". Limit checking can be performed either per carrier or over all carriers.

Test Procedures
PER / throughput RX measurement procedure
1. ● To evaluate the AT's receiver quality, select the "Forward" test application;
● To evaluate the AT's transmitter quality

select the "Reverse" test application to test without simultaneous forward
link traffic

select the "Forward & Reverse" test application lo let the AT process for-
ward link traffic at the same time
2. Connect your access terminal and establish a connection; wait until the R&S
CMW
has entered the "Connected" state. For details refer to
chapter 2.2.2, "Initiating Sig-
3. Use the "1xEV-DO <i> RX Meas" shortcut softkey to call the RX measurement
application
4. Selectively enable and start the packet error rate and/or throughput measurement.
5. Wait until the R&S
CMW has sent/received the test data and read the results from
the appropriate views.
