the corresponding signaling settings instead of its own settings. The configurable sig-
nal routing and analyzer settings of the signaling application can be modified both via
the measurement GUI and via the GUI of the signaling application. To configure the
signal routing, analyzer and carrier settings via remote commands, the commands of
the signaling application have to be used. For a command mapping table, see
ter 3.5.6, "Combined Signal Path Commands"
To synchronize the measurement to the signaling application, select a trigger signal
provided by the signaling application as trigger source:
●
For multi evaluation measurements the super frame trigger of the signaling applica-
tion is recommended.
●
For OLTR measurements the "Event" trigger of the signaling application has to be
used
3.2.5 Multi Evaluation List Mode
The 1xEV-DO multi evaluation list mode requires option R&S CMW-KM012. In this
mode the measurement interval is subdivided into segments, according to the expec-
ted nominal power and frequency steps of the AT under test.
The test signal that the R&S
CMW provides in list mode can be used e.g. for fast
receiver or power meter adjustments over a wide range of channels and powers.
3.2.5.1
List Mode Configuration
Each segment contains an integer number of 1xEV-DO slots and is measured at con-
stant analyzer settings (i.e. at constant expected nominal power and RF frequency).
The figure
shows a series of four segments with different lengths, powers and fre-
quencies. Orange rectangles depict measured slots.
Fig. 3-1: Example: Sequence with four segments with different lengths, power and frequencies.
The R&S
CMW supports up to 8192 measured 1xEV-DO slots, with up to 1000 slots
per segment. In list mode the R&S
CMW can measure channel power, modulation and
spectrum results. It is possible to enable or disable the measured quantities individually
for each segment. Depending on the measured quantity, additional statistical values
(average, minimum, maximum and standard deviation) are calculated for an adminis-
trable number of slots (statistical length) at the beginning of the segment. The "current"
result of a segment refers to the last measured slot of the statistical length in that seg-
ment (see figure
).
