Multi Evaluation Detailed Views: Spectrum
The Spectrum View displays power spectrum, Adjacent Channel Power (ACP) and
Occupied Bandwidth (OBW) in a single diagram. It is visible if either the ACP or OBW
view is assigned. The display (i.e. the horizontal axis) can be toggled between absolute
and relative frequencies (relative to the selected carrier).

Spectrum FFT
The RF signal is measured in the time domain (refer to GPRF, chapter " FFT Spectrum
Analyzer" ) and FFT is used to calculate its spectrum. The measurement bandwidth
can be configured as 8 MHz or 16 MHz for single carrier and is always 16 MHz for
multi-carrier scenarios. The application provides the signal power in dB within the 8
(16) MHz frequency band centered at the mean between the highest and lowest carrier
frequency. The spectrum is used to calculate both ACP and OBW results.
For single carrier scenarios the frequency axis displays the offset to the center fre-
quency, for multi-carrier scenarios the absolute frequencies are displayed.
ACP
The purple bar in the "Spectrum" view indicates the power of the selected carrier. The
values are normalized to the overall carrier power measured with an evaluation band-
width of
±
4 MHz from the nominal frequency for single carrier and
±
8 MHz from the
nominal frequency for multi-carrier scenarios.
