3 1xEV-DO Measurements
The "1xEV-DO TX Measurement" firmware application (option R&S CMW-KM880) pro-
vides quick and flexible tests on 1xEV-DO reverse link signals. The tests cover the fol-
lowing access terminal (AT) transmitter properties:

AT output power, channel power
●
Modulation accuracy (EVM, phase error, magnitude error, frequency error, transmit
time error, I/Q imbalance and waveform quality)
●
Spectrum emissions (adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth)
●
Code Domain Power (CDP) and Code Domain Error (CDE)
●
Open Loop Time Response (OLTR)
Many of the tests and conformance requirements are specified in 3GPP2 C.S0033-B,
"Recommended Minimum Performance Standards for cdma2000 High Rate Packet
Data Access Terminal".
Transmitting a well-defined forward signal to the AT facilitates many reverse link mea-
surement tasks. To generate modulated RF signals, the R&S
CMW must be equipped
with the ARB and real time baseband generator module. The following option enables
processing of 1xEV-DO waveform files:

This revision describes version 3.5.10 and later of the "1xEV-DO Measurements" firm-
