have a large influence over the valving of the shocks.
A longer spring in areas (D) and (E) can be selected if
cut off to match the original spring. Replacement
springs must match the original spring in areas (D)
and (E).

NOTE: On the Crossfire 6/M6, spring has a free

length of 12.75 in., wire diameter of .406 in., and a rate
of 210 lb/inch.

Below is a list of shock absorbers used on the front and

rear suspensions of Arctic Cat snowmobiles. If replacing

a shock absorber, always select a shock absorber with the

same length, both collapsed and extended.
