Changing the LAN Interface Speed

This command determines the LAN interface speed.

network ethernet <ETH> speed <option>

Variables:

•

<ETH> is one of the options --

ethernet, eth1, or eth2, which depends

on your model.

Option

Description

ethernet

(BCM2)

ETHERNET port of the BCM2 model.

eth1
(BCM2-iX7)

ETH1 port of the iX7

model.

(BCM2-iX7)

ETH2 port of the iX7

™

model.

<option> is one of the options:

auto, 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1000Mbps.

Option

Description

auto

System determines the optimum LAN speed

through auto-negotiation.

10Mbps

The LAN speed is always 10 Mbps.

100Mbps

The LAN speed is always 100 Mbps.

1000Mbps

This option is only available on BCM2-iX7 models

or specific BCM2 models with the suffix "-G1".

The LAN speed is always 1000 Mbps.
