Used to set the encoder type.
Cautions
When using a motor equipped with an absolute encoder, set the value in Pn790 (motor code setting)
to 1000 and set the corresponding value to function code Pn791 (encoder type) according to the actual
encoder installed.
● When the value set for Pn790 is an incremental encoder motor in the motor bank, the type of encoder
is set automatically and function code Pn791 is invalid.
● Pn790 has the highest priority. The d
rive automatically determines the type of encoder after the value
in Pn790.
