The Volvo immobilizer offers effective protection against
thieves by interrupting three electric circuits.
Product facts
• The Volvo immobilizer activates itself by:
- switching of the ignition; activating time approxima-
tely 10 min.
- switching of the ignition and leaving the car; activating
time approx. 30 sec.
• The immobilizer can only be disarmed by inserting a
special transponder key in the control unit.
• Status of the system is shown by the led in the control
unit.
• Programming of up to 5 transponder keys in an option.
• Lost keys can be made useless.
• TÜV approval.

Der Volvo Immobilizer schützt durch Unterbrechung von
drei elektrischen Stromkreisen gegen eventuellen Fahr-
zeugdiebstahl.
Produktdaten
• Der Volvo Immobilizer aktiviert sich selbst, wenn:
- die Zündung ausgeschaltet wird; Einschaltzeit ca.
10 Min.
- die Zündung ausgeschaltet und das Fahrzeug ver-
lassen wird; Einschaltzeit ca. 30 Sek.
• Der Immobilizer kann nur ausgeschaltet werden, indem
ein spezieller Transponder-Schlüssel in die Steuerein-
heit eingeführt wird.
• Der Betriebszustand des Systems wird durch eine
Leuchtdiode in der Steuereinheit angezeigt.
• Maximal stehen 5 Transponder-Schlüssel zur Verfü-
gung.
• Verlorengegangene Transponder-Schlüssel können
unbrauchbar gemacht werden.
• TÜV-zugelassen.
