way" from the analyzer's IP settings.

Switch Matrix RF Connections Dialog
The "Switch Matrix RF Connections" dialog allows you to define the RF connections
between the VNA and the switch matrices and the RF connections to the (DUT) test
ports.
Access:
SYSTEM – [SETUP] > "External Ports" > "RF Connections..."
The following configuration rules apply:

Every VNA port must either be connected to a matrix port or directly assigned to a
DUT test port
●
Every matrix that was added to the connection configuration must be connected to
the VNA by at least one RF connection
●
Every VNA port that is not connected to a matrix must be assigned to a test port
●
The test ports must be numbered consecutively, starting with 1
Configuration errors are displayed in balloon popups appearing at the lower left corner
of the dialog.
A redefinition of the physical VNA ports (see
Chapter 6.17.5.2, "Define Physical Ports
on page 701) causes a factory reset and deletes all switch matrix RF connec-
tions. So the RF configuration for switch matrices has to be done
after
the port redefini-
tion.
